BACK TO SCHOOL IN STYLE FOR WINNER REECE
Ladysmith Shopping Centre were delighted to welcome their Back To School Competition winner Reece Leyland to the centre on August 31st. Shoppers were invited to nominate the person who they felt deserved a Back To School prize which included uniform items, shoes and stationery. Natalie Leyland nominated her 12 year old son Reece who's going into year 8 at Audenshaw Boys High School. She said "we have had a really tough year, he didn't take to high school very well and I'm hoping year 8 will be different."
Reece was welcomed to the Ladysmith Shopping Centre on Friday by Lynette Howgate, centre manager and Samantha Robinson, Assistant Centre Manager.
During his visit, Reece was looked after by Debonair School Clothing, the team at Meeks Shoes and management at Home Bargains when he picked up his prizes with Ladysmith Shopping Centre Manager Lynette Howgate.
Lynette said: "It was a great pleasure to go on this shopping trip with Reece to get him ready for the next term, I would also like to thank our retailers for their involvement with this competition and to thank them for their part in making this day special for Reece." Samantha Robinson added "Thank you to everyone who entered our competition and once again congratulations to our well deserved winner Reece."
