Hays Official Opening
A NEW independent travel agency with a high-flying team has opened up in
Hays Travel has opened in The Ladysmith Shopping Centre following a
£75,000 makeover of the store.
New manager Mandy Woolley, who was brought up and lives in
Ashton-under-Lyne, said she was ‘thrilled’ to be in charge of the new store in
her home town.
Mandy, a mum-of-one who has worked in the travel industry for 30 years,
said: “It’s very exciting for me to come back to my roots and be opening the
new Hays Travel store. I’m really proud to be doing it, I
have an amazing team with me who are a real pleasure to work with and we have
had a lovely welcome from the community.
“We have already booked holidays
in a variety of destinations, with long haul being very popular – Hong Kong, Singapore,
Bali and America.
“But this has been alongside your more traditional sunshine holidays.
With Hays Travel being independent, we have access to all sorts of different
holidays to best fit the needs of different customers.”
The former Hartshead
High School pupil added:

The new store is part of a major expansion scheme for Hays Travel North
West, which is the main partner of the hugely successful Hays Travel which is
based in Sunderland.
Hays Travel North West now has 35
branches across North Wales and the north
west, which is set to rise to 50 by the early part of
2020. In the last two months, branches have been opened in Didsbury, Rochdale and Runcorn.
