1. Tell us about you, who you are, where you’re from and why you chose Ladysmith for your work experience.
My name is Matthew Monk, I prefer Matt. I come from Sutton-In-Ashfield. I chose Ladysmith for my work experience because I think it will be a great place to learn some things ready for actual work.
2. What do you think your day-to-day routine will look like at Ladysmith Shopping Centre?
Being in the management office working on computers and sometimes or most the time walking around the shopping centre making sure everything is great.
4. What are you most looking forward to about working at Ladysmith Shopping Centre.
Seeing all the things available.
5. How comfortable are you with using computers and office software? Can you give any examples of some cool things you have done with computers?
Very comfortable, I have used tech and computer equipment for coding and creating many things like websites and Photoshop.
6. What if anything are you apprehensive about?
Meeting new people and talking a lot.
7. What do you think will be the most challenging part about working at Ladysmith Shopping Centre?
Managing things like money and the actual shopping centre itself.
8. What do you enjoy doing in your free time and do you have any hobbies you’re passionate about?
I play golf from time to time with my Grandad and Dad, which is often quite enjoyable. I am very passionate about golfing on the driving range.
9. Do you have a favourite store or place to visit in this shopping centre and why?
Greggs because the sausage rolls are delicious.
10. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
The power to Shapeshift into anything because it can let me do pretty much anything
11. What’s the most interesting book or movie you’ve read or watched recently?
Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse
12. Where do you want to be in 10 years time?
Probably working in the Tech Industry
